Glenn was born in Ventura on July 15, 1928.  At a young age his family moved to Santa Barbara. He attended Franklin Elementary School and Santa Barbara Jr. High.  He moved to Carpinteria living with his parents on the Edwards Ranch, fomelrly the Heath Ranch.  Attending Carpinteira High School, Glenn loved all sports but excelled in football and basketball.  (Go Warriors).  Glenn joined the Marines in 1946, serving at the end of World War II and the Korean War.  After serving his country he worked on several jobs in construction, one of them was the Cachuma Dam.  Glenn went to work for Schlumberger Oil Services where he worked his way up to field engineer.  Wanting a job that kept him closer to home, he joined the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department, which he retired from as a Sergeant.

Glenn was a member of the Santa Barbara Masonic Lodge #192; the Scottish Rite; Al Malaikah Shriners; and the American Legion.

Glenn loved his family and was always there for them.  He was a fair and honest person who had a strong belief in the Lord and family.  He will be missed by his wife, Jackie, sons Kent (Deborah), Tony (Nancy), Norman (Denise) and Kenny; daughters Vonnie Razo (Steve) and Cindy Coverrubius (Bill); 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his parents Oscar and Beatrice Williams, his son Mar, grandson Eric Razo and granddaughter Britten Vining.
