Hans Kristian Wold

Hans Kristian Wold quitely passed Aug. 21, 2012. Born in Tacoma, Wash. on July 20, 1952 and reaised in Titlow Beach, the Puget Sound provided him many opportunities to enjoy sport and the outdoors. Hans started out as a "tadpole" at the local pool and later became a lifeguard, a member of a hall of fame state champion high school boys swim team and an All-American Swimmer at the University of Puget Sound.
In 1978 he moved to Carpinteria where he met his future wife. They were wed Feb. 14, 1981. Later, Kristen and Jennifer completed the family. Hans truly enjoyed being a dad and going comaping and fishing with his girls. He was a longitme employee at both Kilovac (Tyco) and Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation with the Adaptive Bowling and Speical Olympics.
He is survived by his wife Jane, daughters Kristin and Jennifer, and sisters Elizabeth and Pauline. Thanks to our friends for being there, the Alzheimer's Association for their resouirces and Carpinteria Caregivers Support Group for their compassion. Hans was a kind and gentle man and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
